BTW, I notice when switch to complete image mode, the animation will support alpha color.

@Shadow Thief - Thanks! It is a hope of mine as well that the animation can be a different size, location, length, etc.
@pakistanshooter - Thanks! The support for alpha has been improved through the versions. Technically the boot animation does not support transparency, but I handle that all within my program. Also, since version v8 you no longer need to have signed files or use testsigning. It uses a new system to completely avoid that issue.

@xtreme - No. There is no known way to get a small screen to use the Windows 7 boot screen, and modifying it using Vista boot screen tools cause it to fail / show black.

Right now I just have the normal bootlogo, but the copyright text is replaced by "If found, please call " followed by my phone number. Amazing work!

@Misaki2009 - It isn't working on all computers yet. To help me please email me the output of boot-info and your bootmgr file. If your bootmgr is on the hidden system drive, you can use OpenHiddenSystemDrive to get it.

@rmleloup - There are many reposities out there, otherwise all you really need is the startup logo and the program is fairly easy to use.

@r2dak - This is as good a place as any. On the main Windows 7 Boot Updater page I mention quite a few times that the Create Installer feature is currently broken. I have a fix ready for whenever I get around to the next version.

Listen everyone, This program is incredible. Now, it may not be the same for everyone out there because of the type of computer you have maybe the type of video card your running maybe the operating system you are using, all these factors come to play. This is merely an option for people to change their boot screens with ease. For me this program works great. Maybe for other people it didn't. But for god sakes people don't get pissed cause it didn't work for you. Just come back to this website and post your replies and maybe we can help you fix your problems instead of giving you new ones. I am on here quite a bit.

You can also use tuneup utility' s to change the boot skin and logon screen :)
@Jono - TuneUp utilities (even 2012) cannot update Windows 7 boot animation. It works for XP and Vista boot animation and can change the logon screen in XP, Vista, and 7.

I've downloaded your program, but I can't seem to start it.
Anyway, this guy made a lion skin pack which uses your program to change the boot screen.
At the end of the installation of the skin pack, it says something like "Installing: Boot Screen"
Then "Boot updater for Windows 7 has stopped working" message pops up.
The troubleshooter can't find the problem causing it.

Anyway, I downloaded your program, and when I double click it, I see the loading thingy next to the pointer, but it just can't seem to start the program.
I also tried the CMD mode. The Command Prompt, pops up for a second and then it just disappears.
I seriously don't know what else to do.
I've been reading stuff on w7forums, but nothing helped.
I'm running W7 32-bit Ultimate, and I've been repairing this system for as long as I have it.
Main cause of a repair (by the system repair disc) was a try of installation of iDeneb v1.3 10.5.5.
I had to rebuild BCD 2 times, fix MBR, and fix Boot!
@Michael - Well for some people it just doesn't work! I haven't been able to determine why. Multi-boot situations are much more likely to cause critical problems. During one of those repairs something incompatible probably happened. Please email me the output of boot-info along with your above post.

Well, today, I re-installed Windows 7 (CLEAN)
Before installing .net framework and redistributable x86, I tried opening W7BootUpdater, but all i got is: "Boot Updater for Windows 7 has stopped working", and after the installation of the .net framework and redistributable x86, I couldn't even get that Troubleshooter working. Just can't start it.
My brother got a new computer about a week ago, and I tried the program on his comp, and it worked.
Right now, I'm downloading some programs he has on his comp, so i can try out on my own pc.
I have managed to do a Print Screen of a CMD version, which pops for less than a second and it appears that it doesn't show anything that can help me understanding the program.
What programs do I need exactly to run this W7BootUpdater.
Sorry for being such a noob, but i'm kinda new to all this stuff.
BTW. I can send you what it says in CMD, but i highly doubt that it can be helpful.
And
How do i send you the output of boot-info? Is it by enabling "Boot Log" and "OS Boot Information" in msconfig. IDK.
